Petr Janský is an associate professor of economics at Charles University, Prague, where he is also principal investigator of CORPTAX and head of department of European economic integration and economic policy.

With academic degrees from Charles University and the University of Oxford, Petr specialises in public finance, corporate taxation, tax havens and inequality. Petr’s research questions include how much multinational corporations pay in taxes, to what extent these taxes are paid in tax havens, and which factors drive these patterns. Petr has a book published by Oxford University Press and publishes in scholarly journals such as International Tax and Public Finance. Petr pursues impact through collaboration with international organisations such as the European Parliament and the United Nations.
